The TAPA Americas Board of Directors is pleased to advise that _____________ has been accepted for membership in TAPA Americas as a Security Service Provider (SSP). 1. Dues for SSP members shall be set by the Board of Directors annually. Dues for 2010/2011 shall be $5,000. Dues will be pro-rated on a quarterly basis for memberships which begin during the regular SSP membership term.
2. Membership shall run from July 1 through June 30 of each year.
3. Dues shall be payable not later than July 1 of each year. If dues are not paid by that date, membership may be suspended, and will be cancelled if dues are not paid by July 30.
4. SSP members may attend all TAPA meetings (There are generally three meetings annually). There is no charge for meeting attendance.
5. SSP members may sponsor TAPA meetings financially, in whole or in part. If they sponsor all or half of a TAPA meeting, they may display advertising and materials on a table or booth set aside at the meeting, but they may not directly solicit TAPA members for sales unless specifically asked by the individual member to do so. (Dues are not waived for meeting sponsorship).
6. SSP members may provide a link which will be posted from the TAPA website to their own website, but only to the parts of their own website relating directly to supply chain security and may provide a statement of up to sixty (60) words describing their products to be posted on the website.

(Note: Any listing using the TAPA logo must include the following statement: “The TAPA logo is used by permission of TAPA Americas by this Security Service Provider member of TAPA. Use of the logo does not constitute an endorsement by TAPA of any product or service offered by the member, but does indicate that the member currently provides services to one or more TAPA members.”
8. No TAPA member phone numbers, mailing addresses or e-mail listings may be used for solicitation of business by any SSP member unless specifically authorized by the individual TAPA member.
9. Each SSP member will be allocated ten minutes at one TAPA meeting annually to describe their products and/or services, but may not solicit sales directly during this presentation. They may, however, distribute materials and samples to the members in attendance, but no pricing.
10. SSP members shall have no voting rights and may not serve on the Board of Directors, but may serve ex-officio on committees if willing and asked to do so.
11. The Board of Directors has the right to cancel each SSP membership accepted under these rules without notice should they feel that activities of the member have breached the rules. This would be done with a BOD vote and that vote must have a clear majority. If applicable, the remainder of any fee will be returned to the SSP Company.
